Basic Keelboat Cruising

The Basic Keelboat Cruising course is taught in two sessions which together lead to the Sail Canada Basic Cruising Standard Certification.

The sessions are:

Part A - Theory 12 hours (4 three hour sessions) of classroom instruction in Basic Cruising Standard Ashore Knowledge culminating in a written examination.

Part B - Practice 18 hours of on water instruction in  Basic Cruising Standard Afloat Skills culminating in an evaluation by the Instructor.

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Course Fees:

The two course parts, Theory and Practice, can be offered in differing formats and to different audiences.  Theory can be offered as a stand alone course to groups interested in that information but not interested in or perhaps not able to take the Practice session.  For that reason, the sessions are priced separately.

The course fee for Part A is $310

The course fee for Part B is dependent up a number of differing variables unique to each student.  Contact me for further information.
